Minerals (such as as iron, zinc, calcium, and magnesium) can be locked up in a compound called phytate. Sourdough fermentation activity breaks down phytate, thus increasing the minerals' bioavailability.

Our treats are crunchy with sizes ranging from 1" to 1.25".
How long is the shelf life of the treats?
A lab is currently conducting real time shelf life tests of our treats, so we will update as the results come in.
As of now, it has passed the first test point of 9 months. The specific "best by" dates are printed on every treat package.
Do your treats taste sour?
No they don't taste sour, in fact they taste nutty!
Can humans eat the treats too?
Yes if you really wanted to try! Out of all the flavors, Go Bananas taste the best in our opinion :)
