Our Origin Story

It all started with our dog named Ziggy.
In 2019 my family adopted Ziggy, who turned out to be very picky with food and treats.
We also learned that he has a sensitive stomach and hard time digesting conventional food and treats.
I decided to address Ziggy's struggles, starting with his diet and experimenting in our kitchen that's pictured here!

Aha, ferment!
I love all kinds of fermented foods for my gut health, from enjoying kimchi everyday to baking sourdough bread weekly.
I always had extra sourdough starter in our kitchen, so I thought "What if I baked treats using this as a base ingredient?" This is how I developed our dog treat recipes using sourdough fermentation. For more on our story, read our interview here!
